Hewlett Packard 12c Scientific Calculator -- I have not used it, but this approved by CFA institue
TI Business Analsyt Plus - This is also an approved calculator by CFA and this is preffered by most of the candidates. You get a handbook which is very helpful to understand the functionality. Initially you might find it difficult and time consuming to use it, however once you start using it, you will get used to it. Caculator is mostly used for time value of money questions in quantative; NPV and IRR in corporate finance; It will also be helpful in valuation and FSA question. For level 1, there will be very few question where you would required to use calculator. If you have schweser then it provides keystrokes for calculation question.
Schweser Study Notes -- These are much concise notes for CFA curriculum. It covers all LOS (learning objective) required for each level. It provides all the required details in much easy, simple and concise format. It is the most preffered study material for CFA exam.
